WHAT WE DO

Our Focus Areas

Development Consulting

Our approach: participation, collaboration, and flexibility

ASSIST Development Consulting is a multidisciplinary consulting unit that utilizes grants and delivers key projects through technical services to numerous stakeholders across our priority sectors.

We have worked to provide individuals, organizations, communities, and economies with the capacity to enhance their own programs and policies.

We aim to connect civil society, public and private partners in the implementation of localized solutions to achieve inclusive growth in alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Technical Consulting

ASSIST Technical Consulting is a technical consulting service provided by expert staff in the fields of "National Quality Infrastructure - NQI" (which includes Conformity Assessment, Accreditation, Metrology and Standardization); Electrical Engineering (planning and design of electrical building installations and photovoltaic systems).

Private Sector Partnerships

ASSIST's Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) brings together private companies and international organisations under a framework that creates innovative interventions which benefit our wide range of partners and beneficiaries.

In PSP we harness the power and creativity of the private sector to design and implement projects that introduce new technologies, open markets, transfer knowledge, and create opportunities.

We provide a proven way to make the private sector a driver of sustainable development. Despite the great potential developing countries and growing economies have, there remain significant risks should any company enter these areas, such as weak infrastructure and a lack of qualifications.

Private Sector Partnerships minimizes these risks through providing financial and professional support, bolstering global partnerships with governments, NGOs, other private organizations, and communities.

Social Actions

The ASSIST Social Actions (ASA) is the social arm of ASSIST. Through these development programs and projects in Africa, we aim to challenge conventional thinking, spark positive change, and build enduring partnerships for progress.

All of these are guided by the belief that providing stakeholders with the right guidance and the ability to make informed choices at the appropriate time will foster sustainable and meaningful transformation.
